R44 to Klapmuts, take N1 to Paarl
and the third exit to Paarl, shortly after you have crossed Berg River. At the stop turn
left direction Wellington, R303. (In Southern African Birdfinder this is erroneously named R301 ?) Wine-farms on
your left.
After some 1 -1 1/2 km you arrive at a circle, which you cross. Now you pass
some industry buildings (Audi etc) and a robot, just go straight on, you pass
one or two (?) more robots, still direction
Wellington. You see Boland Stadion on your right. Shortly after the end of the
industrial area you find a sign to Paarl Voëlreservaat, turn left and at the next stop turn right for a very short while, until you
must turn left over the rail road up to the gate of Paarl rioolwerke. Alternatiewe roete: Paarl Hoofstraat, draai regs in Bergrivier Boulevard. Waar hy dood loop,
draai regs (Optenhorst/Oosbosch). Draai links anderkant die treinbrug. Draai
